"Along the shores of the famous Frisian lakes, we enjoy our Størvatt all year round. Since the water in the lake is not all that warm in the summer, we often end up in the Størvatt after a swim to warm up again! In the winter, it can b e really special to sit in our "vatt" after a long family skate on the frozen lakes and canals all around us! The Størvatt really made a positive change in enjoying the quiet Frisian rural life!! We chose the 180 cm diameter model to have enough ro om when we have visitors. We made a special cement terrace with tiles for our Størvatt while the terrain around the lake is very very muddy. We drain the water right in the lake."

Next to the swimming pool chalet, you can find a Størvatt on the wooden deck along the garden yarn between the various traditional Megeve Chalets of which the hotel consists. The Størvatt is really a great place to end an active day in the mountains in this scenic Mont Blanc region. For the hotel, we choose for the largest Størvatt and combined with professional spa equipment t o sanitise the water properly to accommodate for the many guests using the Størvatt.
Renovated Chalet de Montagne, Portes du Soleil, France:
 At 1400-m altitude, overlooking the valley of Les Gets, Portes the Soleil, this is really a marvellous spot for a Størvatt. The awesome mountain view, the quietness and the winter snow are the ingredients of a perfect Størvatt site. When it has been snowing and we haven't been around for some time, we sometimes need to dig out the Størvatt covered with 1-2 meters of snow. The best Størvatt experience a night time soak with a few friends after a day on the ski slopes. Even th ough it is usually quite cold in winte , the children usually end up in the Størvatt as well before the go to bed; they love it! The water we use comes from a natural mountain spring and must be close to the quality of "Evian" mineral water; the town of Evian is not far away.
